My family and I are on the verge of being evicted and having our electricity shut off. Our income is very low and we can’t get our DHS caseworker to contact us for help .
We have one vehicle and by the time my husband drives the almost 1 hour trip home from work he is not home in time to go to the DHS office .
We are in desperate need of help unfortunately my husband’s new employer decided to double up on insurance payments taken automatically out of his check which is taking over 75 close to 90% of his check every week we don’t even have enough money for food or to pay any utilities .
Our rent was due on the 1st of the month any day now we will be getting an eviction notice to appear in court.
It’s approximately $650 for our lot rent for a mobile home and we are scared to death because we have nowhere to turn for help no family to help us .
If you know where we can get rent assistance or help with their electric bill, please let us know.
Any help for the holidays so my children have something under the tree would be a blessing.
